It is our pleasure to invite you to the “Sixth International Meeting on Well being and Performance in Clinical Practice” (WELLMED 6). Following the success of our previous meetings (May 2014, May 2016, May 2018, September 2022, October 2024) this meeting will bring together experts from diverse disciplinary backgrounds in order to present and discuss innovative ways of linking physician wellbeing to patient safety and quality of care. One of the core beliefs of our network is that medical practice needs to be inspired by other disciplines, and therefore in our meetings, we are looking for experts whose work could help enrich medical thinking. Special emphasis this year will be on integrity and values in healthcare, as well as new models of communication in healthcare, and novel interventions of supporting health professionals in different settings and disciplines. This year, we are very happy to have the valuable support of the scientific committee composed of individuals who are experienced academics, active members of the WELLMED network and inspiring personalities!
In line with the theme of wellbeing, WELLMED 6 will take place in in Kastoria, a small, charming city that could easily be described as a hidden gem in Greece. The city’s location on a promontory over Lake Orestiada can only be described as stunning, especially in the spring months.
